Halfmoon Haven Beachfront Retreat & Spa
will be our home for the weekend.
Enjoy the best of Canada’s West Coast on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast, located just a 40 minute ferry ride from Vancouver. While travel is not included in your retreat, accommodations are.
This particular “mid-way” point on the Coast was traditionally used by the First Nations People to take shelter and rest, nourish and replenish before the next part of their canoe journey. It is an honour to continue to walk, rest and be nourished on these Sacred Lands. It continues to offer a generous support from land and ocean through such unquestionable beauty and life-giving surroundings. Please join us.
Be Nourished
Food is Medicine.
You will be well nourished over the weekend by the vibrancy and love poured into the food
created by our Red Seal Chef, Rachel.
With years of experience and the practice of supporting retreats and private gatherings,
she shares the highest quality ingredients and is well versed at supporting all dietary restrictions.
This retreat will provide vegan, gluten free foods for the most part, with dairy and meat options.
This event will be alcohol free.
Let the food you eat, fuel the energy you need,
and a satiation you can savour.
Synergy Matters
The synergy of the retreat group is important.
It is why the time is taken for direct invitations, and proper onboarding before registration. The numbers of participants are kept to a maximum of 16 participants, to ensure a quality experience for everyone.
The group of women who have already said yes, and planning on gathering for this retreat are absolutely incredible. To have time with just one of them is a gift. It suggests the kind of depth available, before this has even circulated.
This retreat is an alcohol free experience, and one designed for those who are ready to go deeper, and take the time and space needed to discover and open to deeper rest, while also exploring the more subtle patterns and energetics that are available to be met, and potentially rewired, for greater authenticity, capacity, depth, sustainability and vibrancy.
The Benefits
of Breathwork
Breathwork offers a profound return to your natural rhythm;
A way to reconnect with your body, clear emotional blocks, and awaken your inner wisdom.
Each breath becomes a bridge between body, mind, and Spirit, guiding you home to yourself.
🌸 1. Reduces Stress and Overwhelm
Many women carry the invisible weight of caring, doing, and holding. Breathwork soothes the nervous system, lowers cortisol, and invites the body to soften — allowing space for rest, receptivity, and peace.
🌿 2. Balances Hormones and the Nervous System
Deep, conscious breathing brings harmony to the endocrine system, supporting hormonal balance throughout cycles of menstruation, fertility, postpartum, and menopause. Breath becomes a natural regulator, helping restore equilibrium and vitality.
💧 3. Releases Emotional Blocks
Stored emotions — whether in the chest, hips, or belly, can prevent us from being in full flow. Breathwork gently opens these areas, offering a safe and loving space to release old grief, anger, or tension, and welcome in forgiveness, ease, and renewal. Breathwork can be a natural pain reliever.
🌕 4. Enhances Presence and Intuition
When the breath slows, awareness deepens. Women often find their intuitive voice strengthening as the noise of the mind quiets, and the body opens with ease. This connection to inner guidance empowers clearer choices and authentic expression.
🔥 5. Boosts Energy and Creativity
As oxygen flows freely through the body, stagnant energy transforms into life force. Breathwork awakens vitality, heightens creativity, and restores a sense of inspiration and flow — both in body and in daily life.
🌺 6. Cultivates Self-Love and Connection
Through conscious breathing, women reconnect to their innate worth and wisdom. The practice encourages gentleness, acceptance, and compassion — fostering a deeper relationship with Self, the collective feminine, and meaningful relationships.
🌙 7. Supports Deep Rest and Restoration
Many women live in constant “doing.” Breathwork activates the parasympathetic nervous system, guiding the body into rest and recovery. Sleep improves, tension melts, and the body learns how to exhale and relax deeply.
🌞 8. Awakens Spiritual Connection
Breath is the universal current that unites all life. In conscious practice, many women experience a more spacious awareness — a feeling of returning to Source, to the pulse of the Earth, to the truth of who they are.

“"Partaking in Jenn’s breath work was profound. She is an incredible facilitator, offering an anchoring presence as well as a radiant lightness that cultivated a deep sense of trust for me going into this the experience.
During the process, I felt deep wells and pockets of emotion rise to the surface that wanted to be felt and moved.
Jenn’s instruction offered a safe space for me to welcome these waves and emote them however I authentically wanted to.
Her playing of instruments and music that accompanied the class were highly supportive of this experience as well.
As a result, my entire body filled with a peaceful vibration in the ripples of the released energy, the tension in my jaw melted away, and I felt a clearing that was deeper than I am consciously aware of.
This is something I would absolutely love to do again." `

Can I bring a friend or colleague ?
Absolutely. We encourage people to grow and change authentically, and together. Sometimes going through a similar experience can foster greater connection and support before, during and after the experience.
If you refer a friend. family member or colleague that registers using your name as their referral, we will offer you a $100 credit towards any 1:1 session with Jenn of your choice.
Can I bring my pet with me ?
While Halfmoon Haven does have a pet friendly policy, this retreat is designed to be free of the exterior responsibilities for others, so you can focus on your wellness. Please leave pets at home unless they are a registered service animal, and you let us know they are coming with you.
Do I need any prior experience to join ?
No. There is no prior experience required of any kind. If you are well seasoned practitioner, or if you have never experienced any form of breathwork, it does not matter. You will be met at the skill level and experience you bring.
If you are new to breathwork, you are welcome to drop into a class or 1:1 session before the retreat begins, to learn about your own breath pattern, and the tools to best support you in optimizing your practice.
How many people will be at the retreat ?
Quality is important. That is why there is a minimum of 10 participants, and a maximum of 16. These retreats are purposely kept small to support the quality and depth of your experience, and respect the capacity of the land.
There will be a lead facilitator, red seal chef, and 1 assistant to support the weekend.

Yes. Additional nights accommodations are available at a per person nightly rate, by direct request. Recommended for those travelling from a distance, or those who wish to maximize their Self Care experience on the Sunshine Coast.
The option of pre-booking a Signature Lomi Lomi Massage on Monday April 20th with Jenn is available. 3 spots only.
Will I receive the breathwork playlists ?
Yes. You will receive a copy of the Breathwork Playlists we use in the retreat, so you can practice at home.
Are bedrooms and bathrooms private or shared ?
Bathrooms are shared. Individual beds provided.
Depending on the numbers of attendees, most rooms are shared with a maximum of 1 other participant.
There are a few rooms that are private, and will be assigned based on requirements and first come first served request.
Any elders, women who are breastfeeding or those who require a C-PAP machine will be prioritized for private rooms. Please inquire directly about any specific sleeping requirements you have. We will do our best to support all needs. Linens are provided.
How do I get there ?
Your retreat is located mid-way on the Lower Sunshine Coast of British Columbia Canada, in Halfmoon Bay. Exact address and a detailed list of directions will be offered by request, or upon registration.
Unless you are already a resident of the Coast, travelling by float plane, or arriving by water taxi, ferry travel is required from Vancouver or Powell River.
Reservations are strongly suggested.
Carpooling is suggested. We will do our best to support by asking and matching up participants available to offer ride shares with those who may require them. Without exception, all travel expenses are not included in this retreat.
What if I require follow up support ?
Everyone will receive an integration package after they complete the retreat. Questions and constructive feedback is always welcome after your retreat experience.
For anyone requiring additional follow up or integrative support, there will be a list of experienced Counsellors and Practitioners to choose from.
For those who wish to continue to work with me directly, individual sessions, or a self paced package of sessions with a range of services (massage, coaching, breathwork, energy work), is available by appointment.
